In the next few months Levee Ready Columbia is scheduled to begin investigating the levee on which Marine Drive sits. These investigations are required to certify that the levees reduce the risk of flooding and to ensure that our region continues to receive the benefits of participation in federal programs like the National Flood Insurance Program and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rehabilitation and Inspection Program.
