LRC Technical Advisory Subcommittee

The Levee Ready Columbia Technical Advisory Committee (TASC) meets monthly to discuss, review, and advise on technical issues related to LRC’s objectives and projects. The members of the TASC supported the completion of the geotechnical investigation of the entire 27-mile levee system, including the coordination of drilling hundreds of holes into the levees to test their stability. Up next the TASC will be identifying a set of alternative solutions to address seven deficiencies identified within the levee system that must be remedied in order to preserve accreditation through FEMA.
