The Levee Environmental Conditions Assessment (LECA) is completed. The final product includes an inventory of the natural resources in the managed floodplain and an assessment of land use impacts over time.
The LECA report will be used to inform partners when considering levee improvement alternatives and streamline documentation for Endangered Species Act consultation or other environmental approval processes necessary in order to make improvements to the levees.
