The Levee Ready Columbia partnership successfully advocates for the passage of Senate Bill 306, which authorizes Business Oregon’s Infrastructure Finance Authority (IFA) to create a subaccount of the Special Public Works Fund specifically to provide loans (and small grants) for levee projects associated with federal certification and accreditation. The legislature also appropriates $5 million to the fund.
